I have this class right now and she is a fake nice. You will think she is nice at first but then BAM! She'll hit ya! Absolutely does not grade tests fair. Only a few Q's per test and you have to get it right or no credit is given.

I wouldn't recommend this class if you don't comprehend math well....If you work your way up to this class, it may not be so bad, but she assumes you know everything. (Which I understand because she wants you to tell you that you don't understand, but she works too fast.)

Comment:

Very nice, but says one thing and does another, doesnt follow through with promises. Picks favorites. Final and midterms are performed on a computer, no partial credit(not her fault), so better not make typos or you'll fail. Teaching style didnt work for me.

She is kind of hard to figure out, but I think she must have changed her ways from last year because she isn't what all of these reviews say. She took her time, explained everything in a couple of different ways to be sure everyone understood it and seemed like she really wanted us to do good. maybe it is me, but i think she has changed

Her class is very hard, you cannot afford to miss. However, she stayed an hour after class almost every day to help me. If you do not study, you will fail. If you do study and ask for help when you need it, you will be fine though.

Very hard teacher. She is very confusing and she rushes through lecture. She doesn't review anything from past math classes so you must reteach yourself if you don't remember or never learned it. Notes and study guides don't help much on tests. I had to drop the class. Not going to take another class with her ever again!!

She is nice. Sometimes starts talking and writing too fast. Her tests and quizes are rather difficult. She teaches thing that everyone needs to know, like mortage payments for houses and credit card interests. She gives 2 chances to take the final, if you don't get a grade you like to first time, you can retake. The class is both difficult and easy

Do not take her..I repeat..do not take her! By far the hardest professor I have ever had at Indiana State. It seems as if her goal is for everyone to fail. Her exams are out of this world. She does not give you enough time. HORRIBLE PROFESSOR!

THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!! She reminds me of CRUELLA DEVILLE!!! She has a horrible way of teaching, I think she only does so she can get a paycheck and take her anger out on her students. NEVER TAKE HER CLASS!!!

Test are very difficult! Study guides do not go with the test at all! She is a fanatic about "definitions" You have to memorize the definition for subtraction, addition, ext. She takes points off for mispelling, not using the exact word she gave you, or if you forget to put "for all, for every, for each whole number.." Do not take this class! EVER!

Very ethnocentric and arrogant. Tests and quizzes have very little to do with lectures. Very rude and does not care if students pass or fail. She was usually late for class and seemed like she was in a hurry to leave. Hopefully she gives up teaching soon.

For those of you who make their decisions on enrollment solely based on these comments, this is for you. I am an SI for 115 & hardly anyone came to SI. I also work in the Math Lab, guess how many ppl came.... How many ppl went to her office hr?...few to none. Guess how many ppl got failing or close to failing grades....almost the entire class.

This woman is deceiving. When you go to her class she seems nice and you wonder why everyone says bad things about her then you take 1 test/quiz and you know why. In class her work seems easy and you understand then you see the test and even though you feel like you understand, you failed! Her grading is ridiculous and you never have enough time.
