Don't know if he's still teaching but here it is: Took a summer school English class with him. He made me do a paper over and over and over until it was perfect in every way. Sure it was annoying but not at him, but at myself. He said it had to be correct since I might go to law school someday. Believe it ... I am now a successful retired attorney.

Beware! He gives tests on poems and short stories we read in class and then grades very harshly, and if it's not exactly as he wants it you will do poor. Almost everyone in the class had the right answers but he rebutted and would Not give credit due. Stay away from this class. He makes it difficult to do well and succeed.

This teacher is really nice. Gives good feedback & let's you know of test dates & material ahead of time. You need to come to class so you know what we are reading. All readings per unit are on the test. The essay tests are a bit tricky, but he does review & u can pick which question to answer.

Really nice guy. Pretty easy if you actually put in an effort. Gives a lot of leeway time wise when turning assignments. If you don't like reading aloud, don't take this class. You WILL be called on and you MUST read.

I like him hes a very nice man, kind of like Mr. Rodgers. The comments about him aren't entirely untrue, but overall the class is interesting enough he isn't a hard-ass and I think I will get a good grade if I try. I would recommend him.

This class is hard (to get an A) if you're anything above retarded. If you express a concept properly without quoting, he says "you're not staying true to the story". Knows nothing about lit/interpretation. Thinks Essays are supposed to be bad book reports written in nothing more complex than simple sentences. Frequently misquotes famous authors.

This man teaches a class meant for 8th graders and people who failed their SAT's. His interpretation of literature is extremely shallow, and much of it is not in line with the literary community's interpretations. I actually find the class difficult because his interpretation is so shallow, and he's not open to delving deeper. I expected better.

Anyone who takes his course should get an A. He's extremely easy but too boring. He has an extra credit test that will raise your grade a whole letter, and gives the essays for the tests to you beforehand - same with the objective part. Too easy, and so boring.
