I have lost more sleep, been more stressed out and anxious in this class than any other. The assignments are unbelievable. A concept map helps organize material, but when you spend 6 hours reading and another 4 hours mapping something is wrong. It is 4:00 in the morning Wednesday; I'm doing work for Thursday because I can't sleep right now.

Love him and be a cult member or hate him. Agree with every word he says and get a great grade or disagree and suffer. Inspires sycophants and hangers on. Interacted w/him in a school after graduation and found him to shamelessly opportunistic, ambitious, and holier than thou.Needs to reestablish contact with the real world.

I have to say this was the most helpful class I took while at UW-L. It was also the hardest. I'm now teaching 7th grade, and what I learned and produced (projects, etc.) not only helped me get hired, but is also useful every day. If I can be half the teacher Dr. Richardson is, I'll consider myself a success.

Pompous and arrogant. He has been locked up in his ivory tower far too long and should come down and spend sometime in a real classroom. What he preaches to would be teachers is not what he practices in his class. Disagree with him in his room and you can kiss your grade good-bye.
