He is a wonderful teacher! I would most defiantly take him again, he is super easy, all you need to do is show up to class, take notes and you will have an easy A. He is not strict about missing class but the more you miss the more material you will miss and it is not easy for you keep up since you will go through a lot of notes a day.

Watching an Atchison lecture is like watching a tennis match. He is in constant motion. He is also a great teacher. Funny and interesting. Take notes and use his study guides and you should pass his class no problem.

Excellent instructor! Very fascinating. I wouldn't say he is easy, you definitely have to do your part. I HIGHLY recommend using a recorder. He does talk fast! His lectures have never been dull, and he doesn't drag on. You get done what you need and go! Would take him for any class(minus Latin) he teaches!

Wonderful professor! Everyone in class either 1. LISTENED to every word or 2. took notes on every word he says. He knows the content very well and makes it fun by putting the content into 'modern' terms. Easy A for all of his classes if you study, didnt break a sweat!

Did not like this class. He talks to fast and is not clear on the notes you should be taking. I felt like I had to scribble down everyhting he said and was not sure what to study. This class was a headache! Only people who enjoy it are the ones who already know about mythology, Im not sure why he has good reviews.

Best professor ever! Everyone in class agreed. Wanted to take his other classes for the sake of it. He's laid back and doesn't have favorites. Lecture based. Didn't use the book at all. Quizzes and tests were EASY! He made test time fun by reading past test answers that were comical. He was informative and funny. You learned and retained more.

I absolutely loved his class. It is all lecture based and doesn't require the textbook. He gives handouts of everything that will be presented on quizzes and tests. Just take notes and you should be fine. I would suggest that you record his lectures though as he tends to talk really fast.

he is an amazing teacher! he just talks and you take notes. he will give you a study guide of everythign that will be on the tests. i just re-read all my notes before each test and i got 100% on almost everything. he also usually lets class out early! hes really easy to talk, weather after class having a cig, or runign into him at the grocery store

I may be a little biased since I'm already very interested in the course content, but this was a class that I actually looked forward to attending every week. He made class interesting and funny, was very easy to understand, and it was a lecture based class (which is my favorite). Made my freshman year pretty fun. Highly recommended.

He's awesome! Get 15-20 min breaks. Tests and quizzes are straight from lectures. 10pg paper due but just orgainze your notes and your fine. He goes thru whats in the lil book but you really dont need it! He's fun. class started at 6p and we were out at 730, 8p at THE LATEST. study your lecture notes and youll make a good grade, just know the gods!

Cool guy. Lectures are interesting and keep your attention. If you can't write fast, get an audio recorder. Classes usually get out early, he covers ALOT in little time. Quizzes are directly from the lectures, so just take notes and you're straight. Highly recommend this class and professor.

awesome teacher. lectures the whole class but i don't think we ever stayed in class the whole time, got out early all the time; and he relates the lectures to us, and is funny. he gave us 3 exams and drops the lowest grades so all the people that made a's on the first 2 exams, he let us be done with the class! recommended.

I LOVE MYTHOLOGY, BEST CLASS EVER! Mr. Atchinson makes the stories very interesting, sometimes absolutly. The way he teaches there is no way you can not remember this stuff, just remember the funny stuff he says about the characters! Hr lectures every class so dont miss, quizzes are faily easy, what he puts on the quizzes he also buts no the exams
