If you take this class be ready to really study. He has a very tough homework schedule and really piles the memorizing on you. If you are taking this for a elective don't take him unless you have some interest in spanish. This is not a blow off class!! Overall his is a really nice guy and very approachable.

At first I didnt like him because of his hard attendance policy and his "homework checking" and all the spanish speaking, but then I realized at the end that I learned more from him since I was forced to speak spanish and do the homework and come to class. He was subbing for Symmes so it was quite an adjustment- but I learned alot in 2 months.

People that talk bad about Haladyna are just lazy and should not even be going to college. He is the BEST professor for spanish ONLY if you really want to learn the language. So if your are a lazy, **** business major don't take him!

This guy is an idiot! His teaching method is insane, homework EVERY night, he never speaks in English...stupid assignments, you do everything out of the book and VERY fast pace. You can not ever miss class or you cant make up assignments, or tests...take Symmes!!

I honestly don't know how anyone could have something negative to say about this guy! He is super funny and makes Spanish really interesting. He does assign a lot of homework but it takes literally 20 minutes of your day. He is full of interesting stories and teaches about the culture as well. Take him!

Best Spanish teacher i ever had, focusses on the language, gives a lot of homework, but it's a really good class. I won't take spanish with anyone else but him. I loved his class. He is awesome, and very helpful. If you REALLY want to learn spanish, take him!

I've always loved spanish, but thanks to this guy, I hate it. WORST SPANISH TEACHER EVER!!!! Be prepared for homework every day, and taking quizes/tests the last 5 min of class. Hope you aren't a long test taker, because he doesn't seem to care about it.
