make sure you go to class and pay attention. very easy to get behind... algebra on tests was actually difficult, but he made the concept of calculus simple to me. good teacher, difficult to relate/communicate with.

I am a senior majoring in Engineering and Physics with a 4.0 GPA. This professor single handedly brought down my GPA. He is not involved with his students whatsoever, even if you make the effort to go to office hours, during lecturing there is room for maybe only 1-3questions, not structured when lecturing so you don't really know what he is doing.

Nice guy, slight accent but understandable. He gives only 3 tests and one exam so you better study for them. Do the review before the tests and you'll do fine. Homework is optional.

Grade is composed of online HW and exams (multiple choice.) Terrible math professor, especially for teaching calculus with students that have no background in trig. On the tests there can be more than one correct answer-one factored, one non-factored- he chooses which one is correct when both of them are correct. If you take him, RIP homie.

Basically your grade is composed of 3 exams and a final. Very good teacher. Easy to understand. If you have questions go to his office hours he covers a lot of material so he doesn't have as much time for open questions in class.

He is extremely rude and condescending. If you ask for him to explain a problem he will just say "because it is." He is no help if you ask him a question or go to his office hours. He teaches higher maths so he teaches as if you are should already know the material and explanations. The worst professor I have had. NEVER TAKE HIM!!!!

The HW is an easy way to help your grade. I am average at math, but I had a hard time with this course. He does one problem for the whole class time, and doesn't answer any questions. Do the practice exam, understand the concepts/steps of each problem, then you will pass the class. I went to the math cave for help.

The only grades are the exams and homework, so make sure that you do really well on the exams. He gives study guides that will definitely help you on the exam. This is a fair class; I would take him again.

Generous grader. Tests are multiple choice. Make sure you are clear on previous math formulas(Point-slope)If you ask he will laugh. Gives practice problems that are a difficult but you get the easiest problems on the test. Do the homework he assigns. Look up some videos to walk you through problems you don't understand. Reading the textbook helps.

All you need to do to get an A is memorize how to do each problem on the study guides he gives. Use the web to figure out how to do derivatives because he doesn't explain them well. He also uses a different method for each problem and never explains why. He's always in a bad mood and hates questions. His FINAL exam is unfair.

Comment:
Class was pointless and boring most days because he takes forever to explain stuff, hard to ask questions because he cannot explain another way. Gave a problem set before each test but the tests were way more difficult than the problem set. Textbook isn't really helpful, I wouldn't bother getting it. Get help from grad students if you are confused

He's hard to understand at first, but once you get used to his accent he's kind of funny. And he's good at explaining concepts but the only grades you get are on your 4 exams, so study hard!

He makes everything very clear even though calc 2 is considered the most difficult of the three. He's very good at explaining things and gives plenty of practice problems on webassign and puts up tests reviews and a final review. He also has a huge curve. I got a 60 on one of the tests and it was still a C as he understands how difficult it can be.

If you are the type of student who needs a lot of help from the teacher this is not the course for you. He is only there to teach and nothing else. Speaks clearly, but jumps from topic to topic. Do not take if you are not strong in prerequisites.

basically, he is useless, bur if you took calculus 1 in high school you'll be completely fine. He's a waste of my time and wasted his own time writing a syllabus he doesn't use, so i don't do the homework, and study the day before each exam and do extremely well.

Do NOT take him. He does NOT curve and is incredibly rude when you ask him for help. He keeps telling you "You should know this already." He is lazy and is not willing to help students out. I would take someone else. I made a huge mistake by signing up for his course.

Awful, everything is hard!! He's a terrible, he is funny occasionally and he's not a bad guy, just a bad teacher, his accent is thick, expect 10-15 hours of studying before tests and it takes about 4 hours for each homework assignment. The classwork is difficult but nothing compared to the tests.

Great teacher. Has a strong accent but speaks English very well. Will make a funny remark randomly while solving a problem- good laughs. Goes over Trig functions quickly so if you don't know them already, ask for help outside of class. Very clear and thorough in solving and proving theorems. HW is optional but highly recommended. Curves like crazy.
