Comment:

Took the class online in the summer to fulfill an ACE & it was a great choice since I wanted something that would be easy & not take a ton of attention. Can learn as little or as much as you want by putting in as much or as little effort in as you want. Watch all the lectures all the way through (double speed) & you'll do fine on the tests.

This class is extremely easy. But don't miss an exam or quiz because he won't open it back up. And keep in mind that he makes big exams due on holidays so its easy to forget or miss. He acts as though students are nothing. Recommend for an easy A but one small mix up will cost you.

Easy A even for people like me who do not have an interest in rock music. Dr. Anderson is very understanding and is very good at sending reminders for the quizzes and tests. The class is entirely online and you get a month to do a section so it is easily doable.

I enjoyed History of Rock. But he suggests he will only test you on "big stuff" and that's not true. Be prepared to know the artists presented well. He's very engaging and enjoys what he teaches. I believe he wants his students to truly enjoy it too and is always willing to help.

Scott has a passionate interest in what he teaches and it comes across in his preparedness and presentation. He asks difficult questions that makes the student think, but doesn't hurt their grade. Always willing to hear the students thoughts on the subject matter. Recommend his history courses that he regularly rotates in the summer.

Very interesting and easy class. This is the class to take if you need some credit for your electives. Lectures are fun because he shows music videos and plays music. Go to UTAC sessions because its true that just about all non listen questions are answered on UTAC review sheet. This is an easy A.

This guy is the man. Funny and super cool. He wrote the book so if you read it and usually go to class, you should get at least a B. I recommend going to class because he plays videos that cover stuff not in the book that might be on the test. If you go to the UTAC sessions you will ace the class. Did I mention hes the schools resident badass?

if you go to class and pay attention you'll be fine. most of his notes in class are right out of the book, but he elaborates during class so that information really helps. there are also videos that will almost always be covered on the test and the only way to get that info is in class. very funny guy, interesting class too.

I love going to this class. Its very interesting and entertaining. It is a lot of work, though. You have to take good notes, read the books, and pay close attention. It helps that Dr. Anderson is a stone cold fox, I sure pay attention!
