I wouldn't mind his class if he didn't ask the most random things on quizzes and exams. Be sure to show up to class and understand his demonstrations and little references he makes in lectures because he will test you on that to make sure you actually attended classes. Exams often pull questions from quizzes but the final exam is way different.

Has quizes every friday that have one extended response question. You can drop one quiz. 10% of the grade is only lab and syllabus. That means that 90% is solely quiz and exam grades. All lectures are online with terrible handrwriting. In class he goes over the exact slides. The guy is crazy, had to teach myself. Take at your own risk.

During the beginning of this course, I was rather infuriated by the structure of the class. I wasn't doing particularly well on the Friday quizzes or the first midterm. After I started paying attention to the problems in recitation and the end of chapter questions, I did better. I ended up with an A, due to studying immensely hard for the final!

Really fair professor. Have quizzes every Friday, which aren't too bad at all, and three midterms. Do the chapter summaries for lots of extra credit. Not hard to get an A in that class at all. His quizzes and exams are his notes, so just study his notes and you'll do great.

The actual material is not easy. It takes a lot of studying and practice. The professor, however, does his part and clearly delivers the message. He makes quality notes. There is a quiz every Friday, which sort of leaves you focusing on Physics before any of your other classes. But overall, highly recommend

He is a bad, tough and mean person. Very bad grading. In the tests, If you're gonna miss a step in a problem you will get 8 points off!!!!!!!

He can be interesting at times, but lectures feel long especially since he is just reading off slides that are posted online. You should attend though because he will drop random facts or do demonstrations that will end up as multiple choice questions. Not too hard to get an 'A' as long as you attend, do the extra credit, and don't break his rules!

Quizzes every week with one being dropped. Up to 20% EC on final for the 14 chapter summaries. Study the in lecture examples and the homework as this is where he pulls his quiz/exam questions from. Many quiz questions are small facts he gives in lecture. Follow the syllabus rules or he gets extremely angry. The final usually consists of previous Q.

-Lectures posted online, memorize the problems -If he says "write this down" or does a demo, they WILL be on the quiz/exam -Go to recitation to see the homework problems worked out, HW is not checked -Get an old version of the textbook (vol. 7) for extra credit chapter summaries -an A in 2080 is 92% (I think 94% in 2070), so do the extra credit

He has a test or quiz every week which grows old very quick. You find yourself focusing only on physics every week. He is very particular about the rules and if you do not show very single step in a problem you are sure to miss points. If he is in a bad mood when grading he will grade extra harsh. If you are good at physics you might like him.

This guy is awesome, He cares so much about your undergraduate success. Getting to choose your own topic to research as well was a big plus. Also he has a great sense of humor.

I took his Jurassic Physics class this semester, and it's been an amazing class. I have learned more in this classroom this semester than I have from possibly any other science class in all of my schooling. By tying together elements of physics to a topic as interesting and (occasionally) silly as dinosaurs, you get a truly unique experience.

This class was extremely easy as far as participation points. Study for the exams or you won't do quite as well. Extra credit is worth it, do it! Also, attendance is totally manditory! If you skip class a lot, you'll fail. More than 2 unexcused missed classes get you an automatic F.

His class was BEYOND easy. All I can say is, show up for class and do the work. If you do that, you'll get an A. That's literally it. But you must study for the exams, if you don't, your grade won't be as great.

Was very meticulous about his rules, but as long as you follow them well he will not treat you horribly. Extra credit every week for chapter summaries, and weekly quiz. Recitation is really just a chance for people to pick up their graded quizzes. Attendance is not mandatory for either lecture or recitation, and homework is not mandatory either.

Well structured class, but Dr Lee has serious mood swings. He only teaches one class because of his "disability."
