At first, he was really useless. He made us look up concerts for ourselves without giving us any direction, until the very end when time was running out. His quizzes and exams weren't too bad (study!!), and he graded the final paper fairly easy, especially since it was suppose to be 7 pages long..

He must be awesome to take in music appreciation, but he was a nightmare in our musicianship class. Nice guy, very helpful but with our class was out to fail as many as possible. I would NEVER go through his gauntlet of Musicianship again if i ever have to. Good guy though.

Easy if you pay a little attention in class and take notes. Quiz, Midterm finals = Multiple Choice (listen to PIECE answer 5 questions), just study outlines. Nice, friendly, always willing to offer help. One essay (30% of grade) and one extra credit quiz (exact style as other quizzes).

Class was hard if you didn't keep up. He is incrediably anal about how he wants his work done. But if you try he will pass you, u must put the effort in it. I loved this class and would totally take it over. He was easy for me. Incredibly nice and geniune. Totally recommend and u wont regret it.

This class was super hard! i took it during summer and half the class dropped. If your not already musically inclined, this class is definitely NOT for you! I found myself very lost in it and you have to attend classical concerts that are boring and write long papers on them. Nice teacher if you take the time to talk to him though.

I am taking him summer 07, 6 tests including 1 midterm and 1 final (btw those are harder than math 5B, i am taking this and 5B, I scored better on my math tests.) 2 projects. Not a easy class, especially for non music students. And you have to listen to classical music, those will give you a headache.

He is one of my favourite teachers I have taken in PCC. The quizs are not difficult if you read the book. You will appreciate the chance to learn some about music and enjoy your life more than before. Papers are not hard either because it is real a lot of fun and enjoyable to write a letter when you put your heart on it.

To start off -Dr. Zusman's hot! His class is great,I would've never gotten the chance to appreciate Beethoven, Brahms nor Stravinsky, if not for this guy. So, thanks for that! Be prepared to attend 2 concerts and write a paper on each one, quizzes are medium easy,lots of EC,midterm and final are open book. A semester well-spent. Thanks Dr. Zusman!
