Dr. Molnar is the most caring professor I've ever had. She is truly passionate about chemistry and tries her hardest to help students. ASK questions!! She literally begged us to. She is a tough grader, but it's to ensure you know the material better. I HIGHLY recommend taking any class she teaches.

Comment:
Dr. Molnar seems tough at first, but she just establishes what she wants at the beginning of the semester. Once you know the rules, you're OK. She works hard to help you if you ASK for help. Take the SI sessions that are offered, they can make your grade. Not taking them can break it.

Comment:
As a senior in the schools' Appl. Math program, I come to expect hard grading and even tough classes. However, with Dr. Molnar, I found a class that is unreasonable hard. The math and chemistry part of the course is easy. Her grading restrictions she puts on you is overwhelming. You could get a problem right but she would give you onlyhalfcredit

Comment:
She is hard with respect to grading, but the difficulty of her tests is in line with real colleges everywhere. WVSU students have a tendency to expect courses to be watered down and placated. Dr. Molnar expects academic performance in line with quality colleges and universities everywhere. Do NOT disrespect her. Go to class. Do your homework!!

Dr. Molnar presents things in a very clear way, and although she might seem intimidating, she is always more than willing to help you in any way. Respect her and her rules, do the recommended homework, and study the notes, and you will get along with her. My advice: even though both are optional, DO THE HOMEWORK AND GO TO CLASS.

An excellent professor with her own quirks. As a heads up, she expects reading and studying from the textbook more so than explicitley stated. She also is very willing to help students putting forward effort.

she is nice, but unorganized. tends to get sidetracked. final consists of q & a of quizzes and exams, but didn't get the keys for them until classes were over and had to pick them up from her office. overall the class is not that hard

I've never had a professor that makes themselves so available nor has tried so hard to make sure the studenets succeed. She has dealt with nearly an entire class of boneheads and kept her wits and personality. She goes the extra mile.

LOVED this professor! She loves chemistry and brings it down to an understandable level for those of us who are not chemistry majors. Be warned, she doesn't put up with B.S. and expects you to study and act like an adult! Be polite, be respectful , and take advantage of her office hours! I highly recommend her for any class, as long as you study

I don't know how she got such high ratings. On our first test, she had to give out 10 free points because she ****ed up the exam questions. I also found her very demeaning- she seems to want to treat students like 3rd graders rather than adults. She has more pet peeves than any professor I've ever had, which pissed me off b/c I'm paying her salary. She can be helpful at times with the material, so you can learn from her. But it doesn't matter apparently because the exams are ****ed up.

I took her 105 class and she was so obsessed over the unimportant stuff I spent more time worrying over it rather than getting the correct awnser. Not to mention you cant use the $150 calculater you bought for Chem because someone MIGHT use it to cheat
