Shelly was awesome! I was so scared to take her class because of the negative reviews, but had to because the class was a prerequisite for others that I needed. I couldn't be happier that I ended up in her class! She is extremely easy-going and understanding and always made sure we clearly understood assignments.

This class is without a doubt, the hardest class in the Communication department. The way Shelly ran the class made it even harder. I emailed her 4 TIMES to help me figure out what I was doing wrong with my paper. The first three times I emailed her she was too busy.She's not helpful and a tough grader. Take this class with a different professor.

Worst professor I have ever had. She cancelled a lot and piled on the work at the end, I didn't learn anything. To make things worse she marks you down for no reason. Waste of money

Shelly was a great teacher and enthusiastic about the subject. The class it self was useless but she did a great job making it somewhat interesting for being there all semester. Tests involved matching A-HH of so many similar things, but papers were graded lightly and made up a good portion of the grade. Mandatory attendence is her only draw back

Shelly's class is great. She's fun to listen to however some of the classes are just so hard to sit through. She's really tough on grading papers but she gives you a study guide for all the exams! Overall, entertaining class.

I LOVE SHELLY! She is so nice and fun. She is easy to get along with and makes class interesting. 4 Exams and then 2 papers. Available if you need help. Class was pretty easy to understand, gives out a study guide before each exam.

Dr. Hinck is a great professor! She is super enthusiastic. But, the subject matter is boring. Must write five papers which are not drawing upon intellect - instead they are drawing out feelings. How do you view conflict? How will you engage in conflict differently?.. I did not like the subject, but that is not a reflection on the professor.

Are you guys blind? Shelly and her husband are so not hot! This lady is not dependable, I emailed to see my final paper 10 times and she never got back with me, was also threatened when I questioned something she said. Yes, I did get a decent grade.
