I used to like Dr. S... but OChem with her is impossible... she puts all the details and exceptions on the tests which makes me look like an idiot even though I know most of the stuff!! Lots of people have had to retake OChem because of her... be prepared to have no life besides chem if she's your professor!!!

Next to impossible to pull a decent grade. Mechanisms must be flawless (never mind the ACS is multiple-choice wiht no mechs!), and you have to have an encyclopedic knowledge of spectra. Everything I've learned, I taught myself.

Excellent Professor. Expects hard work based on homework that gets assigned. Do the homework and get a decent grade - it worked for me. Always answered email questions. I had good GPA and left with one. Only the slackers complain.
