Awkward because her name is SHERRY, not Shirley.. but anyways, she's a delightful professor. She teaches some difficult topics, but she toes the line really well. She never makes you feel insignificant and always asks opinions. She gives really good feedback and exams are straight forward. WONDERFUL professor. Take her classes!

The class itself is interesting and she does a good job explaining everything. There are reading quizzes every single day and there are also 1 page papers assigned almost every weekend. The biggest problem I ran into this past semester was how hard of a grader she was when it came to writing. I'd highly recommend a different professor if possible.

Dr. Jordon truly cares about her students and about her profession. She is a wonderful person! She makes the lectures interesting but attendance is definitely mandatory to understand the material. 2 exams and a final (mostly writing and a handful of multiple choice). 2 five page papers but she allows you to hand in a rough draft for feedback.

I really love Dr. Jordon. Her lectures are entertaining, and she is the kind of professor where you don't have to worry about saying the wrong answer. Cares a ton about the students, and helps when asked. Really tough on grading papers, but exams are not too difficult by any means.

What a woman. To succeed in this class take good notes off the board and do all of your reading. Great professor, but tough grader when it comes to writing. An A- is manageable if you put forth lots of effort. But not an easy A what-so-ever.

I love this professor! She is wonderful. Lectures are interesting and well prepared. Provides study questions, but they aren't graded. Decent amount of writing assignments, but they're easy. Lots of class discussion, too. I tell everyone I know to take her class!

Her tests are fairly easy but she grades everything a lot harder than she should. She has a lot of work, a lot of writing assignments, and she gives pop quizzes frequently. I regret taking theology with her. I would honestly tell my friends to take theology with someone else. She also calls on the people not paying attention most of the time.

Professor Jordon is an amazing woman. She graduated from Yale (YALE!) and decided to teach here of all places! She is passionate about Theology, but in no way forces any of her beliefs onto students. She also provides great feedback on papers, which there are a lot of.

The best part about Dr. J is that she always makes you feel you have given a good answer in a discussion. This makes the whole class more comfortable and the discussion even better. She is absolutely the nicest and I loved this class! You will have to read every class, but the writing isn't that hard and Drs. J and S are fair graders. Love her!

Dr. Jordon always makes you feel like your input to the class discussion is valuable. She's not an easy grader, but she's a wonderful, helpful person and genuinely seems like she wants you to succeed. Also, her and Dr. Scheurer begin each class with a 2-minute meditation, which is nice.

I had her as one of my professors for the THEO 101 in Rome trip, and I loved her. She expects you to participate often in class discussions, but even if you're completely off-base, she makes you feel like your input to the discussion was important and valid. She's always willing to help you out after class, and is passionate about what she does.

Dr. Jordon's class made me enjoy Theo. It is a somewhat reading heavy class and there are daily reading quizzes, but as long as you read or at least skim ahead of time, you will be fine. Her lectures are fun and interesting and she knows her stuff. As long as you do the readings, you will be fine and understand what is going on.

Great Professor! You must do the readings to answer the daily class quiz. You must volunteer 3x at a non-profit women's place. The tests are hard! Let me say it again, the tests are hard! 20-30 multiple choice (easy) and 3 short essay & 1 long essay. The long essay is the hardest part. She gives you 5-7 essay question & 1 will randomly be picked.

I took her 3 semesters ago and really liked her teaching style. I went into the class thinking that it would be boring but it really wasn't that bad. Because it's a religion class people are often forcing what they believe into their student's heads but this was NOT the case with Dr. Jordan. She was very professional, kind and not too hard.

Good teacher! She has reading for every class but the material is gone over in class. 2 papers and 3 exams and multiple writing to learn assignments that are a page long about the reading. She is really a good teacher but will have to work a little bit for it but overall she knows what she is doing and will help you if you need it. Take the clas

Dr. Jordon is a fantasic prof. She really cares for all the students and tries to better herself and her course based on how the students learn. This shows she has an interest in the students and it makes the class a lot of fun. She's also very fair to each religion, and she doesn't try to sway anyone one way or the other.
