I thought you were supposed to have fun in the outdoors, but Snapper makes the outdoors dreadful. He's very traditional and will shut down any new idea you pitch him. He's rude and super condescending and will shame you when you make a mistake. He makes you question your worth sometimes when he puts you down. He takes his job way too seriously too.

I had the pleasure of teaching with Snapper at Raquette Lake in the summer of 1996 for the SUNY Cortland Outdoor Education class. Two weeks with this guy wasn't enough. He was a fan favorite amongst the students as well as all the other instructors. It you get the opportunity to take a class with this man, do so.

Horrible experience camping with this guy. He is obsessed with being in control and not open to new ideas about things to do while camping. He legally changed his name to Snapper which is absolutely ridiculous. He is condesending and his laugh is so fake . ....

I agree with the last comment. I had this jerk for camping and pulled an A in his easy a$$ class but got an A- b/c of his bulls**t lateness policy (I was literally 30 seconds late a few times). I also went on a camping trip with him and it was like going with your 90 year old grandpa - in tents by 8:00 without exception. I was 21 years old. S**t.
