Basically he sits at the board and writes down the notes with very little explaining, then he goes on to do proofs. He does very few examples and puts the hardest problems he could on tests...pretty hard but u might come out of the class having learned something

This professor is too old to teach and on top of the, he doesn't know how to teach (at least Prob and Stati).Whenever her became confused by the material (quite often) he would always make the comment that ''Differential Equations'' is his subject of expertise.Why does Wayne State contue to let this him teach and waste people's hard earned money?!

He does proofs instead of showing you how to work out problems. The final was INSANE. I had an A- average and ended up with a C after the final. Definitely does not do enough to help you understand the how/why's of stats. Avoid if at all possible.

DON'T TAKE THIS GUY!!!! Out of all of the Math teachers that I've had, he was the absolute worst. He does not give good examples of the chapters presented in class and sometimes he does not understand what he's talking about. Math is great but he makes it hard to undestand and like.

Terrible teacher, everyone in class dropped. Class went from 35 to start, to about 9 at the final. Most of those still failed. I squeked out with a C because I memorized his examples which he wrote but did not explain. Open book exams are the only saving grace. Final Grades, 2 kids got Bs, 3 Cs

This prof is the worst I've had so far and its my 3rd year here. His notes are ridiculously unhelpful. If it wasnt for the open-book tests and quizzes i would be failing his class. I dont think many people like him because i'm in a class with 12 people. DO NOT take him.

worst teacher I ever had. I love math but despised him. Lectures were awful, unclear, and he was extremely rude to students. I admit that I like his way of curving the grades, but I would never even think of taking a class of his again.Stay clear of him if at all possible.

I had heard statistics was easy, but it definitely was not with this prof. He takes time to make very organized notes (and he speaks english) BUT there are NO example problems, and sometimes the notes are trivial. If you like a challenege..he's the guy.

Bad professor... His notes are not clear at all! The only good thing is the open-book tests, but they are still pretty hard! The material covered isn't too bad if you read each section and learn it on your own. But I don't recommend this guy for those who have a hard time with math.

I thought Prof Williams was very good. He was very organized. He titled his notes so I could read the corresponding sections in the book and his curve was amazing. I have to admit, math is not my strongest subject, but I received an A with him.
