Very boring lecture. If you get involved in the discussion and disagree with him, he won't like you. Never meets with students. Horrible grading system. 25% participation, 25% midterm, 50% final. As if so much on two tests aren't enough, they are choose 2 out of 3 essay, and the questions are very open ended, you never know what he's looking for.

The best teacher I have ever had - by far. Good man, excellent knowledge, great communicator. I graduated 7 years ago and still use things he said in class and in private conversations on a daily basis.

If you're expecting to learn all the intricate branches of govt, then you'll be in for a surprise. This course is the most comprehensive american govt course ever!! You will learn mostly supreme court [like 3 weeks on just that part] and learn how to fight a case in front of the supreme court lol Exams are easy! essay comprehensive!Read for clarity

Great classes, nice guy, easy yo relate to (sounds like Bill Parcells), in-depth and interesting story teller (not much for notes). Can save money on not buying a book due to his comprehensiveness. Only beef is final is worth a ton more than midterm but both tests have equal scope.
