his ego is huge, and i question if he even worked in the industry - it seems all of the chairs have never ever worked in industry -or maybe they did in the 80's or 90's - DMIT has lost a lot of awesome teachers, maybe they should get rid of all the chairs... oh yes i graduated and work in my industry was not attainable - back to pumping gas

I took IST103 back in 2007. Steve is a nice guy, but spent too much time trying to be friends with students and not enough time teaching us what we needed to know. I learned most of what I needed to know for my career by Googling it after class.

Steve is the Best teacher I have ever encountered. He Cares and tries to help everyone, to the point of "Help Classes" which I Needed.... God Bless Steve Chattergoon, he is one of a Kind. Nait should consider themselves Lucky to Have him represent them. Bravo Steve!!!

Steve is really this good. As the one and only moderater for this school, I can guarantee that not all these ratings, if any are done by Steve. Steve is the best teacher I have ever had. He creates a relaxed and comforting atmosphere, while teaching you, what needs to be known.

Great teacher, very clear, to restate the obvious. Laughing at his corny jokes makes the time go by faster as this will encourage him to keep them coming. this is one of the best C++ teacher of all time!!! he teaches clearly, and he marks FAIR. if you don't pass his class, it's probably not because of him, it's probably because C++ is new to you, or you just can't grasp the concepts. A-1
