Steve is great! Homework is usually to finish what you started in class which sucks because it can be VERY time consuming. But overall he's laid back and grades really easily. Really does want you to improve - can be picky at times but only because he cares about you becoming a better artist

He's a great man. He is interested in how your art improves. Even if it's not the best, if he sees that you're improving week to week (and you will the way he teaches) then he gives you a good grade. It's a very relaxing and fun class even if you've never drawn anything before in your life

Steve is a great guy, very personable and is very helpful. It's an easy class. He'll play music during class and its relaxing. I don't think of it as an actual class! I'm not an art major, but the way he helps students, it's as if you were one. It's crazy! But he's awesome and I'm SO happy I could take him before I graduate!

I had him freshman year for an art elective. I got really sick so I missed a lot of his classes. If you keep in touch with him through email or in person, he will try helping you as much as possible. He really helped me out! You can listen to music during class and he is such a friendly guy!

wow, one of the all around best teachers here. Has a very unique way of seeing things and helps people out. (even those who aren't artistically inclined.) The class is very fun..you do art on a variety of mediums and sizes. Hes funny and all around awesome. definitely take this class...if you can get in.

He's the best teacher I've ever had. He really opened up my eyes to different things in the world. He's not judgemental and he's really funny and helpful. He took us to his studio and showed us what he does and it was just really awesome...plus he offers you tic tacs...they're 30% bigger!
