Uncle Stevie was my favorite professor. He is really funny (ask about his cat) and the class is pretty easy. He will call on random people if no one is answering, but he won't be mad if you say you don't know the answer. You have to give 1 presentation but as long as you do it he'll give you 100% on it.

had him for etymology- such a nice man and teacher, genuinely cares about his students & wants them to succeed. tests are hard if you don't study, but if you put in the work a night or two before, you will get an a. do the practice probs every night, cold calls in class. offers lots of extra credit & assigns a super easy project at end of semester.

I can go on about this man. He adores talking about his cat and isn't afraid to say what's on his mind. His tests can be kind of difficult, but go to his office hours and sometimes he can give you extra points back. He's so sweet and actually cares about his students!

One of my favorite professors. Hilarious, EXTREMELY intelligent, very personable (the nicest guy ever). Makes the subject interesting. Studying is an absolute *MUST* for tests and finals, but if you look over everything you'll do fine on them. Only one paper, but it's SO much fun to write. You'll actually WANT to come to class. Take him if you can!

Classical Mythology. Newmyer is hilarious, scary intelligent, and the nicest guy you'll ever meet. He makes mythology interesting. Lots of material covered, you HAVE to study for tests. The one paper was skit form and FUN to write. Answer his questions (they're not hard) and pay attention. You'll learn a lot. One of my favorite professors.

Mythology. Unorganized notes, very difficult tests, but great study guides. Fun professor, great sense of humor, interested in his students. I skipped only once, very interesting. Tests cover TONS of info, you *need* to study for them. Grades tests with some bias, definitely plays favorites. Not a slacker class at all, but fun overall.

He is a really funny guy. He makes those boring classics stories seem interesting. I agree with some of these commentators of his tests and unorganized notes...his tests are pretty hard sometimes and he does not really take good notes. But, i only skip this class once, it is so intersting and he makes it fun.

He is an amazingly funny guy! Always interested in the students' lives to a certain point. He wants to know you well enough to have a comfort level should you need to approach him for help with something. Very fair, consistent grading. Full of information and never boring. Class AND professor rock!
