An OK teacher. If you want to be taught, this isn't the teacher for you. However, I did receive an A in the class. Every paper that is turned in has to go through turnitin.com. You can go to her for help and email her. She doesn't seem to take the job seriously though.

one of my favorite teachers this semester..she clearly outlines what is due and when..the core papers are one after the other but there is enough time to do them..her class i extremely interesting doesnt even feel like an english class.she will help you if you need it...can get off topic sometimes but quite interesting anyway

super nice lady! easy A in my opinion- as long as u do all of the work. sometimes assigns busy work and requires a 1st, 2nd, & final draft to EVERY paper which is annoying....but overall i def recommend her. if u rn't a good writer and want to improve and get a good grade then take her!

She gives three 3-5 page papers and one 5-7 page paper. Divides class into groups and makes each group do a led discussion - kind of like a group presentation. Ten 1 page journal entries are due at the end of the course. Not sure how other Enc 1102 classes are, but I did not like that she assigns more work than the Core papers.

Capozza is a great professor, mentor, and teacher. She's gone above and beyond my expectations of any professor. This may be "just a gen ed" but it doesn't feel like it. Take this class to broaden your life/world views, or if you like good discussions. I look forward to going to this class and I like doing the assignments.

She talks way to much and the earliest she let us out was 1 min. She doesn't TEACH just gives you handouts. Only good writers take this class because she isnt the best. Take her if you can write and like to listen to sarcasm.

Wow I don't see how she could not been seen as a good teacher. Sure it wasn't the hardest class but really its just a Gen Ed. I thought she was a great teacher and helped alot. My writing ability did go up as well as my confidence.

Really cool teacher, makes writing fun. She talks a lot but its interesting. Only 4 Core papers which she gives you a LOT of time and feedback on. Rather lenient grader, I thought it was an easy A. Her methods force you to do the work, but it helps you to not procrastinate. I deff. Recommend

okay, don't lesten to the other people about her. I'm a B student, and she's not too clear about instructions of papers towards the end, but she grades SUPER easy. She's probably one of the best English teachers. I lucked out. Plus she offers extra credit. TAKE HER trust me, you won't regret it.

DON NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR YOUR OWN INTELLIGENCE CAPABILITIES. Assigns the dumbest, most pointless busy work. Papers requested cram your creativity into a little box and require you to throw it away. If you want a class that benefits you in any way, don't take this one.

Somewhat unorganized, really annoying, talks and talk about nothing, gets off subject easily. Essays are easy if you write well. Doesn't really teach you anything new. Don't need to read the book, she never went over it in class. Lots of busywork. Wouldn't take her again-ever.

I had her for both ENC 1101 and 1102. I liked her that much. She is very straight forward and expects a lot of work out of you. But, if you do it, you should get AT LEAST a B. Great teacher who keeps the atmosphere light, fun class to go to.
