For some reason an ART HISTORY CLASS has never been so confusing to me. Me, and a majority of my classmates ended the class with an average of a C or D. not lenient at all, she accused us of cheating, she put information of the exams and the answers that SHE wanted to hear and god forbid i didnt capitalize "Fauvism" automatic 40 point deduction

She's a sweetheart! She's actually deaf in her ears! So she kind of speaks loudly. There is mo text book all exams are taken online (there are 3) each not cumulative. You are allowed to use slides and she gives 40 extra credit points to each exam; there is one paper (describing art at a museum) and no final or midterm (just exams) she's corky:kind.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS. She is absolutely the worst professor who has no knowledge of how to teach a class. You can never understand what she says and rambles on and on. Also her tests and quizzes are on a lot of materials that we never learned in class.

Listen to me. Never, never take her. If you have to have 4 classes for a semester, go with the 4, just never take this professor, it is nearly impossible to pass. Powerpoints are all pictures, a lot of what is in the quizzes or exams isn't on the power point. This might be my first F in a course and that is just really shocking to me.

You really have to listen to her for 2 1/2 hours. Her powerpoint are all pictures with no descriptions. She goes right into the lecture without explaining what she will be talking about. You can hardly hear or understand her and she does not repeat herself. Her quizzes are nothing like her powerpoint. You are basically alone on this one.

You will not do well if you do not attend every class and take excellent notes. You need the notes for the tests. She will not spoon feed you the information on canvas, that's why you go to class, that's why you are in college, to learn. If you expect to go to class and sit there and doodle, or sleep, well you will not do well.

I don't know why she is still a teacher. Gives three tests but doesn't post all the notes on canvas so it is impossible to study. Her so called canvas book does not have a lot written. Posts pictures on canvas yet does not write about them, gives a paper but doesn't say the outline, its like trying to study but can't

The class is like the following, she gives lectures for 2 1/2 hours without a break and rarely will repeat anything unless you ask her, has notes in class and does not post all of them on canvas so you can only see them like once for the tests, you have to write down everything she says, it is hard to remember, gives a paper with vague outline

She is very nice and passionate about the subject but she does not post all of the powerpoints so it is hard to study, there are three tests which are really hard, you have to know and take notes on EVERYTHING she says that she does not post all on canvas, I could not find the material for the test, her lectures are in a trance

She is really nice, easy going and scattered but don't be fooled because her tests are hard and can have anything on them that she talked about. She talks about fluffy and off topic things more than necessary which can bore you like crazy, forgets due date changes, doesn't always answer emails, one time she didnt come to class without emailing us

She's a nice person. I like her . As a professor, she is very knowledgable with art. However , she's all over the place. Her exams are beyond tough . I liked the class. It's a do able class but be prepared to write every thing that comes out of her mouth. You can't do the exams without notes. I Wish she was more organized. She's very nice and sweet

She is very nice but laughs too much in each class and is so scattered and unstructured. She forgets what she is talking about sometimes or talks about innapropriate, unchallenging, or irrelevant things in her lectures for more than necessary which can make them awkward. The tests and research paper outline are HARD, surprising, vague and UNCLEAR.

I know not many people liked her as a prof but I honestly enjoyed her class very much. She is such a sweet lady and will go above ans beyond to make sure you pass. I'm taking her again next semester since I'm considering art history as a double major. All her exams are online you can use your notes. No text book & everything you need is canvas.

Worst professor I've had. Presents several hour long lectures with multiple topics, so you can't memorize it. Expects you to remember insignificant information but never tells you what it is so you're stuck jotting everything down. Goes on 15 minute tangents that have nothing to do with class. Tests are TOO specific fill-in-the-blank. Awful class.

Susi Colin is by far the worst professor I have ever encountered. She is so unorganized, unprofessional and a terrible teacher. All the quizzes are online and are NEVER posted on time. The questions are super specific. She never answers emails. She never grades things in a timely manner. She is an awful teacher. I would never suggest her to anyone

Basically, her teaching is as follows: lectures from powerpoints in class, there's no break despite it being over 2 hours (of course you can leave but you feel compelled to stay), 3 overall exams including the final exam, exams are ALL online through Canvas, 1 paper, 2 short assignments. Her exams include fill-in-the-blank, which is tricky

Worst professor I have ever had, she is very smart but her teaching methods are terrible. I work hard in school and this class made my life impossible. Her tests were ridiculous. She would give you a picture of something and expect you to know so much about it when she never discussed it in class AND it was also fill in the blank. Never take again.

Impossible to contact. Can never keep a lesson straight. She lets you know she's ADD at the start of class, but she is really all over the place. I liked her as a person, but not as a teacher. Screwed me over by giving me a negative grade on the term paper somehow. How, I'm not sure. Lessons were rushed, felt unhelped.
