it sort of is upsetting rating him poorly since he is a good guy. he's just not a great teacher. completely disorganized and all over the place. never met a teacher who could care less about students skipping and assigns completely unrelated material/project to the course. id rather take this course part time with another teacher to be honest.

Shows up late and leaves early. Leaves to make phone calls during class time. Had no plan for the course going in. When he is there, just sits at computer at front of class. Assignments were generally made up on the spot. Slides were just taken from a textbook. Assignments not relevant to lectures and both not relevant to learning objectives.

Good instructor. Good guy overall. Takes time to help students. Friendly. Good attitude. Good course content. Allows lots of wiggle room for assignments if needed. As for negatives: he's not the most punctual instructor. Other than that I can't really think of anymore negatives.

Best teacher I've had in a long, long time. Wish all BCIT profs were like him. He understands your workload is heavy, and will accommodate where he can. Super nice!
