Professor Barber is the literal best! Her class is my favorite class I've taken so far. To do well in her class is to go to class 8:30. I know it's hard and she does not really check the attendance but listening to her explanation really helps the understanding. She is an interesting person, love her so much. Her labs are gems.

Barber is a really good professor. She's not the most tactful-- she knows what she expects of you and if you don't live up to it, she doesn't have time for you. But honestly that just motivated me further. I want to research with her sometime before I graduate, 100%.

I hated this class. There is no direction at all. She literally says whatever pops into her head whether it is relevant or not. Her jokes are not funny at 8:30. She expects you to know things in textbook without teaching it. I got an A, but was clueless as to how and what to study for tests. It was a struggle in her class.

Professor Barber is the absolute best. If you want to be a neuro major, go talk to her. I looked forward to going to class, even though its at 830. Its not easy but everything she teaches is very interesting.

A great professor but the class was boring! I would recommend taking a class with her but not molecules of madness. She lectured at us and nobody even took notes because we were not quizzed or tested on the material at all. The material was very interesting overall learning about the brain and the different diseases. GREAT PROFESSOR <3 her

Professor Barber is super nice and very funny. She made a difficult subject interesting to learn about and anyone interested in neuro should talk to her. She is approachable and you can tell she loves what she does. Sometimes its hard to take notes from her since she doesnt write or use slides but everything she goes over in class in in the book

This class really makes you work, but it's a lot of fun. It's super hard to get into. That being said, psych majors, take it only if you have genuine interest. It's not required for you, but if you got in and a neuroscience major didn't, they'll be mad. The professor is hilarious and easy to talk to. Her exams are difficult, but worthwhile.

You must go to class and take notes on the lectures if you want to do well. shes very funny, but her TAs suck, and need to be reminded that not everyone is pre med, and some people are just taking the class to fulfill requirements. i got a C, didn't go to class much, but studied my ass off for the final...so go to class

Prof Barber is simply one of the best professors at Dickinson. She is funny, smart, helpful, and willing to take class to a new level. I will always remember her Brain and Behavior class (and the material too!). If you want to learn, have fun, and get to know a great person take her class.

I actually like this professor a lot. She is very easy to talk to and helpful. Unfortunately her teaching style is very bland and not engaging. She simply lectures from her thoughts with no visuals. Hard to stay awake. Shes quite funny though.
