Thelma Pinto is a darling; she might not be able to remember your name but she truly cares about her students and about what she teaches. Definitely frustrating but in the end if you do your work you'll likely pass with an A. Plus she makes her FSEM an authentic South African dinner at the end of the semester. Yum!

BAD!!!!! She is a terrible professor, she is all over the place and makes students feel bad for being white. Horrible advisor, she didnt even know my name and it was the end of the semester. She should have done more to try and make first semester a nice transition and she totally FAILED!!!

even tho she is a wonderful cook, she has a habit of degrading intelligent students infront of the whole class and making students feel inferior simply because they aren't well versed in all field of study, which in my opinion, isn't a very good quality for a frosh seminar prof who is supposed to encourage students and help they adjust to college
