I took Prof. Stovall last semester and she was one of the easist professors I had. Her exams were online and you don't really have to read the chapters because she gives you plenty of time to browse the book for the answers and if it's raining she mostly likely won't show up. Exams were like 25-30 questions and we had like two minor writing paper

She is really a very nice lady. She doesn't like immature people. She is judgemental. She is very soft spoken and I really enjoyed her class

Two textbooks, two tests (mid-term and final), one very short paper, four community service hours, and one social worker interview. She gave us extra credit for a few things, like voting early. Teaches straight from the book. Must attend class. Overall she's good, just a tad boring. I have an A, and I'd take her again.

Comment:

This teacher uses the book a lot, she mainly teaches from it but is very clear. Tests are fair and come from the book, so as long as you read the book there is nothing to worry about, does not hit you with tricky questions. Gives you extra points for attendance, she is fair and easy if you make a bad grade you did not even open the book.

This is one of the worst classes Ive taken yet! She grades unfairly, half the time she didn't even read our papers and would give us a grade! She "picks favorites" like they do in Grade School. HORRIBLE, Horrible, horrible. I do not recommend her at all!

Dense and demanding text. She only read from the text and the text, although clear, was full of data and statistics which the professor expected us to learn in ONE reading of ONE day. I passed with an A but everyone else got a Cs& Fs. Noone else liked her

Ms.Stovall was an excellent teacher. Anyone who thinks otherwise is just plain stupid. Her course is very enlightening on social problems. I really enjoyed her class. She is definitely a "must take." Everyone in my class got A's and B's.

The absolute worst teacher I have ever had. We were one week away from finals and still on chapter 3 of a 20 chapter text. Extremely unprepared and disorganized.
