Dr. Bertolini knows exactly how to make information clear and understandable. Lots of people did poorly of course, but the tests were generally manageable. Oftentimes he would follow up an easy test with a curve ball of a test to throw everyone off, so be prepared for unconventional chem questions.

Bertolini is nice, understanding, and keeps the class interesting. He made us ice cream once out of liquid nitrogen. He uses the clicker and his tests are tricky so be careful, but he's a great guy.

He is by far the best chemistry teacher I have ever had. He writes clear notes and is very straight forward. He made lecture pretty interesting despite the fact it is organic chemistry. His tests are difficult, but fair- as long as you do practice problems and pay attention you'll do fine. He is super smart- he can speak latin and french too!

Good lecturer, kinda boring sometimes, but makes funny jokes. Notes are clear, he's the only teacher I know who writes complete sentences on board. He's very helpful, answers all questions and returns emails on same day. Oh he's HOT alright!!!

Awesome awesome professor! I went in thinking organic chemistry is going to be the hardest thing ever and walked out loving it thanks to him! Very good notes, very clear in his explanations, and a very helpful professor. Fair exams if you understand the concepts. And I have to say, he's rather cute!

He's a great instructor. Very thorough with his lectures; has nice handwriting and is very approachable. You won't fall asleep in this class - he keeps it interesting. Tests are fair, and if you just practice problems and go to lectures fully awake, you should be fine. Enjoy organic chemistry!
