I love this man. He is an amazing teacher. He taught me a lot. He makes sure that you learn the material that you need. If I needed to take this class again, I most definitely would especially with Dr. Carmody.

Dr. Carmody is such an awesome professor-- I personally dread taking theology classes because I get bored easily and have a hard time focusing; however, Carmody's classes (especially if you take the 50 minute ones that meet 3 times a week) are fun and he manages to make even the most boring of bible passages just a little bit more interesting.

He wrote the textbook so make sure that you read it. His lectures are all over the place and really don't make sense most of the time. He really is a nice guy. I just have a hard time following him. He also likes to pick on certain people so be sure to understand what he's even talking about at the time.

Carmody is special character. He's very sweet, very eager to teach his students, and he very often has interesting things to say. However, he's a little confusing to have as a teacher, and he would be much more effective as someone to visit in his office for a fascinating, albeit, random conversation on various topics concerning theology.

Dr. Carmody is a nice person but he talks a lot. Most of the time when he talks it doesn't make any sense. Therefore, reading and buying his book(s) is crucial. He usually says I don't know a lot. His quizzes are usually easily if you read for class. It is important that you know some dates from the books. He does like group projects in class.

Aww Carmody is adorable! He's like a funny old grandpa who happens to know a ton about theology. Every class is interesting, no doubt about that. I'd recommend him, especially if you aren't already super religious.

I was told not to take Carmody because I wouldn't like him. I ended up having to take him anyway and I can't wait to take him again. He's really interesting in class and he makes the Bible easier to understand. Some people don't like the book he wrote, but I liked it.
