Very good at explaining things, and very funny. did bad because I didnt study enough and the tests are long with respect to the length of class(ran out of time on all the tests).

Pretty good calculus teacher. His class was difficult, but if you paid attention, asked for help, etc. you did well. His quizzes were a bit difficult and he graded tough. Calc 3 just didn't click for me. He is one of the better professors to take.

Very good math professor. Intelligent and helpful to those who show desire to do well. Only subject he drops the ball on so to speak is error propagation. Not terribly hard to get an A in his class.

HARD! If you want an A take someone else, if you want to learn math take Dr. Norfolk. Do not expect sympathy for a poor grade, but do expect to laugh a lot during class! NOTE: study like crazy for tests or you will not pass!

He is super nice, entertaining and intelligent! Always willing to help and slow down if you need him to, which is extremely helpful when you're taking him for a summer course. AND he's got a sweet British accent (major bonus!).

He is one of the best teachers at Akron. I took him for cal 1 and 3. The only down side to taking him is that his test are really hard. Not only does he test you to see if you know the material, He test you to see if you fully understand the material. I would still take Him again.

This guy knows his stuff and knows how to make it make sense. He is very entertaining and always willing to back up if someone doesn't understand. I'd take him every math class if I could. This was my last class for a math minor so I didn't try very hard and still passed. I did go to every class though. Highly recommended attending every class.

He is a very good teacher. He also likes to tell random stories about his farm in class that prove very entertaining. His accent is also very entertaining. He's very helpful and always keeps office hours if you have questions. His class is hard, but then again, it's Calculus so it's not supposed to be easy.
