Comment:

I felt encouraged and supported by Instructor Duda. MATH1050 involves a lot of homework on ALEKS, but it's not too difficult. The digital lectures/notes do a good job of explaining how to solve the unit's material, which made the written assignments much easier to understand and solve. He offers partial credit on most of the assignments and tests.

Comment:

Tj is by far the most caring professor I've ever had. Although the class was mainly independent work on ALEKS, he's always there to answer any question very clearly, and will do everything he can, as long as you put in the effort, to make sure you pass and don't have to take class again.

TJ is a very friendly teacher who wants his students to do well. He knows a great deal about the required courses you will need for various majors, particularly in the math department. He is absolutely committed to helping you get through the classes you need so that you can achieve your goals. Incredible teacher and all-around nice guy.

Mr Duda is great! I took Math 1050 and then 1099 (1075) with him! Too bad he doesn't teach 1148. Clearly he wants you to get an A but he wants you to work for you A! he doesn't complicate things a lot which is good. He tells yo what to study and you better do it. He'll not tell you to read the whole book. Just do what he says and you'll be fine!

Prof Duda stepped in a few weeks after the term started, after another professor was fired. While he covered the material very quickly, he was very clear, and made sure everyone understood the material. He really wanted everyone in the class to pass. He always gave partial credit for answers if you showed work. I would take a class with him again.

I just finished his class and I thought he was a great professor. He offered extra credit which is greatly appreciated. He answered questions on the same day at all times. I would definitely take another class of his. I got a 189/200 on the final and 466/500 overall!

This is by far the best math teacher I've ever had. I go to another school now, and find myself wishing I could get an explanation of the subject the way Duda gave it. Other teachers might give you an easy A for doing the bare minimum, but if you really want to learn math, Duda is your guy!!

I dont understand where all the dislike is coming from. TJ is an awesome professor, best I've had in a long time (counting other schools). He's to the point and does lots of examples and he tends to drop problems on quizzes/exams. very helpful and just a nice guy. Take him for any class. If you go to class and pay attention, easy B and semi hard A

I thought he did a fantastic job teaching this class! His tests were challenging (he is a stickler for details!) but it only pushed me to work that much harder to do well. If you want to be challenged to learn, not just an easy A, he's the guy!

His the worst professor I had.Just drop him.His class is very boring.His tests are very hard and his grading is also very hard.I did a lot of work in one problem but I got something wrong on that problem so he gave me 1/10.I got an E in his class.I took that class at OSU with Sergi Chumutov and got a B+ with less than half of the effort.

Excellent instructor, he really makes the material easy to understand and approaches it from a simple perspective. Class is very organized, there's a certain rhythm and flow to each class and if you do the homework the quizzes and tests are relatively easy. I definitely recommend him.

I earned an A in 150, 151, and 152 learned all the material on my own without attending classes. The guy next to me was copying my test Duda assumed since i don't come to class i was cheating off that guy. So he failed me... anyway i retook with another prof and got a high B... take another prof. Duda never asked if i knew thea material either

This instructor is really hard,he goes over his stuff too fast. His lecture is boring it is hard to pay attention. He don't do any reviews for the tests, his tests are so hard he don't give any partial credit. Instead of having a review he just do more new useless stuff.He would just tell you to go over the HW which is not helpful. Drop his class.

TJ is one of the better Math instructors at Columbus State. He made a tough topic (Linear Algebra) a little easier to understand. It didn't help that CSCC made it a 7-week class. There was WAY too much material to cover in that short of a time. We lost out on real-life applications of the subject. But overall, I would recommend TJ.

Very good teacher. I like to think of myself as a math-oriented person, but I can see that he would be very good to those who are not. He is very good at tying points together and explaining things. Fair and fast grader. Has no foreign accent. Likes to ask questions to the class but doesn't waste too much time waiting if nobody knows.

Very hard. Every other problem on tests invloves e or ln just to make it impossible. 6 quizzes, 1 can drop. 3 midterms. 1 final. 1 homework. He doesn't review. Just says to look at homework. It doesn't help when homework problems are 8th grade math problems compared to his crazy test problems. Tough grader. It's as if he doesn't want you to pass.

pofessor DUda is really awesome teacher. I would recommend to anyone to take him for math. He's cool and down to earth, he's explain something as much as u want and never gets mad at ppl for asking questions like my old professor did(n i dropped my previous math103 class b/c he was that horrible) But duda is different very nice^^
