Laid back, but filled with energy. The only downside to the class is that it's a night class, but if you're okay with 7-9, it's a GREAT class! And as a professor, class aside, he really gets to know you, and gently pushes your limits hoping for the best results.

If you want to be a clone trumpet player sign up. His bands tend not to swing and all his trumpet players end up clones of him. The guy is not a bad player but he is not as good as he thinks. Also Jazz Band, Big Band or Combo should be about the soloist, I wish he could remeber this.
