Tough professor yet she knows what she's doing. Go to class and TALK and you're guaranteed to get on her good side. Very helpful at office hours and very fair when it comes to class discussions. Definitely my favorite professor this semester.

Borer likes to hear your opinion, so long as it agrees with her own. An intelligent professor in an interesting field, to be sure, but she's could do better to judge work product on the basis of the work itself, rather for its coincidence with her own ideas. I had only one class with her, and I think that was enough.

Borer hated our intro to international politics class and readily shared this opinion with us and her students in other classes. Borer is highly intolerant of views that run counter to her own--she'll punish you for them. Buyer beware: Borer plays favorites.
