Most helpful teacher I've ever had. Extremely nice and wants everyone to do well, but it's up to you he won't give away grades. Probably the best teacher I've ever had and I'm a senior. I would take him again if I could. Definitely take his class.

Dr. Brown really knows his material and makes himself available for extra help whenever you need it..yes there's weekly quizzes but easy so long as you keep up w/ the material..class gets boring but prepares you for psych 141 & grad school

He's quirky and gives weekly quizes, which are easy as long as you keep up with the work which is something you need to do with this class.He's boring and goes over things repeatedly,if ur confused during class ur best bet is to go to his office,he explains everything so much clearer 1on1.I got on A in both classes and was def well prepared for 199

Dr. Brown is demanding, but a fair grader. Always willing to help. I didn't think he was boring, but I was interested in the material. He is a really nice guy. If you intend to do no studying, this will be a difficult class. He gives you sample questions for midterm and final. Just study! The best thing in this class was the review sessions.

He means well, but no matter how hard I worked or studied, his quizzes were always hard. If you take him, just be prepared to to a lot of self-teaching, and to dedicate ALOT of time to styuding each week. He's a little boring, & hard to follow at times. Nice guy,though, & willing to help if u need.

Dr. Brown is extremely hard to follow. He jumps all around and is very bad at explaining, even the easiest of problems he makes out to be very difficult. He is very helpful outside of class so if you come to college to learn in class not outside DONT TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!!

I have to say that he is VERRRY boring,BUT he is actually a very good teacher, especially for this type of class. He is boring because he is very concrete in his teaching techniques and for 141, you need that.

Sneaky!!! Interesting lectures, but his tests are based on obscure facts in the reading that he never touches upon. Only a couple of A's given out. Tries to grease up your psyche by giving out donuts when you are given his evaluation sheet

I disagree. He gives the midterm and final questions in advance and lets you confirmt the answers with him. Plus he rates your grade on a curve. If you do the reading and work, he is definitely a good guy. I got an A minus and didn't work that hard.
