he really knows his stuff, and you will do well in his classes if you EITHER go to every class and take lots of notes OR read every book/assigned reading. you honestly don't have to do both. he's very helpful outside of class and lenient on due dates. just don't take advantage.

Really nice guy, his laugh is infectious. Not the best teacher, but I mean, even though he can be all over the place, as long as you show up and take notes, you can't go wrong.

Like the other comments, he knows his stuff, but he has a hard time teaching it. His notes on the blackboard are really hard to understand. Make sure you get the textbook and read it, sometimes its better than going to class. He tends to repeat lectures 2-3 times.

He is a really nice guy, and he knows his stuff REALLY WELL (genius?) But he CANNOT teach. At all. For French history I went to class and stil had to read the entire text to understand what was going on. He is absolutely insane.

M. Schonberger was a terrible prof. He knows his stuff, but cannot convey it to the class. More often than not, he ended up confusing us. Out of twenty five students, there were rarely more than ten that came to class.
