Great teacher! She truely cares about her students, and she is always willing to help you out. If you go to her office hours, you won't be disappointed. Very knowledgeable and has actually met many of the writers. Sometimes gets off track, but you still learn a lot.

She is one of the sweetest people I've met at Purdue. She will always work with you and she'll always tell random stories about her Bristish or Texan life that are funny because they're quirky or just so lost. I love her!

She definitely knows her poets. Course requirements were clear. Not a lot of papers to write. Class discussion was like pulling teeth, though not through any fault of hers. Loved her Harry Potter tangents! I would definitely recommend her.

She knows what she's talking about and is willing to go above & beyond in helping you understand material. She is very approachable and friendly. One of my favorite profs. ever! And as for the tangents, they link the poetry with other seemingly unrelated factors - and make class fun! So there! :)

She tells you in class what she wants... just go and listen to lecture. The tangents are fun, and useful if you're having an off-day and need to space out for a bit. Very knowledgeable about her subject, and an incredibly nice teacher!

I love Professor Flory! I took many classes with her. She is always excellent, and challenges you to think. She does go on tangents, but I find them amusing. If you show up, do the reading, and meet with her about papers, you'll always get an A.

Nice woman who clearly knows her stuff, but she goes off on random tangents that have nothing to do with anything and are a huge waste of time. SO annoying sometimes.
