Although he is a bit strange/goofy, he is a wonderful professor and a very kind person. His class was lovely to take and I really enjoyed meeting the monk. I think Loyola made an incredibly stupid mistake firing him.

He is a very interesting and light-hearted man. One of my favorite teachers at Loyola. Too bad he is retiring. I would have taken more classes by him. Yes, he has an accent, but with most accents, within a few class periods you can understand exactly what he is saying. We had some papers, and quizzes.

I know his class seems boring and he is hard to understand, but when you can understand him he is VERY smart. I mean he got his masters/Ph D from Harvard. Come to class, but bring other things to do. If you complete his assignments and show general interest it's such an easy A. He once said that Loyola tells him he gives out too many A's! :)

He is a really funny, nice man, but he is sooo hard to understand. He has a think accent which makes it hard to decipher and get what he is saying. The actual class is easy, though. There are a couple of opinion based essays, a quiz and the final. It is a good GPA boosting class, but not one of my favorites.

Cute and funny old man, loves teaching. Can't understand him for anything but it's an easy A. Two quizzes, a ton of opinion-based essays. TOTAL waste of time though, got nothing out of class except getting ALL my other work done since there was no point in trying to decipher him. Quite boring but I still really respect him...huge GPA booster.

Cute and funny man but ridiculously difficult to decipher accent and he cannot stay on the subject for more than two sentences. It's very difficult to actually get something out of the class. But the essays and quizzes are easy. He does take attendance.

Good class to take for an easy A. He's really funny if you can understand him, but he goes off on so many tangents he's hard to follow. Really don't have to go to all the classes, but he does take attendance occasionally. Bring something to do to class and it's smooth sailing.

The man has a sharp wit, but I'm afraid I can't give him much for clarity. The most bizarre, random, shambling lectures I've ever witnessed. He's definitely a brilliant guy, just has an unusual definition of a "point." Very hard to pay attention, but I also can't imagine a class being any easier. I think I did about two hours of work for my A+++.

Easy A but oh so boring. Bring the days Red Eye and the newest Phoenix to class (need to sign for participation) and you'll finnish just about when he does!! Coffee just doesn't do it anymore in this class. Random lectures=don't really learn about the topics and spent 10 of 15 weeks on Hinduism... Random essays, random essays.

SUPER EASY A. abo****ley great teacher!! he was quiet and sometimes a bit hard to understand, but i truly learned alot about hinduism and buddhism. nothing too hard was assigned and tests were based off notes, not bad at all. i ended up with a 99% ending percent in the class and im just an average student. great class, great teacher!

He's probably the coolest professor I have ever had. His extensive vocab kicked my butt a little bit, but he's a really nice guy with some really really interesting thoughts and views. I recommend his class to everyone. I'm not a big fan of religion in general, but he opened my mind to a new world of ideas.
