He is great professor. He is so funny. He has integrity. Someone was saying inappropriate remarks about sex and race, religion, he was clear to stand up and say whats right, so much so that he kicked student out of the class. I was so impressed.

Behind the times in terms of overall teaching. Does not respond to e-mails and does not understand students constant concerns in reference to grade in class. It is hard to know where you stand grade-wise until the end of the semester.

The 2 books are required for this class. Must read chapter each week (notes are given weekly on BB, but will not help you pass the test w/o reading), take weekly tests and respond to discussion board. Professor may seem unclear at times and does not respond to emails so I suggest meeting with the Professor in person if questions arise.

He is an older man who barley understand technology. he seems nice in his emails and notes how he types out his jokes but when it comes to having a test posted on time, most of mine were posted late without him telling the class. needs a technology class.

Professor Bishop is the one of the best, funniest, and not to mention easiest professors you will have at GCU. His courses are very interesting and learn alot. His workload is very light and grades very easily. There is no excuse to do badly in this class, or any of his classes in general. Highly recommend if you want a GPA booster.

I took him for American National Government (PO211) He has a sense of humor some students might feel that is corny but it is because this material can be dry, dull and boring at times . He only requires 2 papers. 1 Journal article review and a Federal Interview. Not difficult stuff here. Tells you whats on the tests. The final is super easy. Easy A

He tries so hard to be funny, but he is boring and loses everyone throughout his lectures. I didn't learn much at all in this class, but he tells you in the beginning what you need to know for the final. IF YOU TAKE THIS CLASS, STUDY THE MAPS LIKE YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!!!

He tries to be funny, but in my opinion fails. He has obnoxiously corny sayings that he uses over and over and over again. His projects are unclear, his tests usually have little to no relation to the class material, and I personally enjoy catching up on Buzzfeed or doing other class work in his class. You're allowed 1 skip, that's it.

I learned some interesting things in his class. He can be funny at times to some students. Others just think he's corny. However, it adds to the class climate and breaks up the monotony of just typical lectures. I liked how you had to label all the African countries for a test and create your own imaginary map of some created towncity.

Bishop is one of a kind. He is super corny with the jokes, but it's all in an effort to keep the class alive. He is super easy. If you don't get an A, you obviously never did any of the work, which is minimal at best

He is one of my favorite teachers I wish he taught more history classes. He tries to be funny and it totally cracked me up, his jokes might not be for everyone. Made the class extremely interesting with relation to very interesting facts. Quizzes are easy if you take notes and he literally gives you points on the final. Greta teacher and mentor.
