Such a nice guy. He is very willing to help out students when going to his office hours. He is not a hard professor if you actually try and come to class. His tests are essay based but if you get together with a group of people from your class and study you will do fine. If you take good notes, you will be fine :)

I liked this professor. 2 exams, a final, and an essay. All exams were essay questions. I thought a lot of the material was confusing however he was clear in his lectures. It is difficult to sit still in a 3 hour evening class. His accent isn't difficult to understand at all.

Nice guy, very thick accent. I took this upper level philosophy class with NO previous PHI classes and got a B+ so its not like he's hard. He gives you all the test questions prior to the test (they are essay tests-in class). Medium-Hard grader. VERY BORING, i played sudoku every class to maintain my sanity.

Hard grader, difficult to understand...Had to borrow others notes in order to learn and study accurate information that were seemingly ambiguous to comprehend in his packets . The class in itself is interesting, him not so! If you get a chance, find a different professor that is clear and doesnt have a complex when it comes to grading

Accent is very difficult to understand. If taking him for Business Ethics, thoroughly read and understand the articles in the textbook. He is a very tough grader. Three exams, all essay, and 1 paper. Come to class because he takes attendance, but no reason to pay attention. Bring a laptop/other work. If you work hard, you can pull a B or C.

I hated his class, he can't say "GOOD" he says "Gooda" every time he says GOOD, I keep thinking he's talking about a cheese. Gets me hungry sometimes. ha. but Can't understand anything, he repeats phrases a million times in the same tone of voice thinking we didn't get it. NOT clear at all. Grades papers dumb. can't read english so why grade it?

Dr. Huang is the type of phi professor you want to have. He keeps the class fun while still explaining the material very well. English is not his native language, but he is not hard to understand, unless you're only thinking about how many beers you'll drink later that day. As long as you make an effort, you will learn a lot from his class.

very unclear in what he wants on the tests. He gives you the test questions beforehand but only selects a few questions so you have to know all of them. Unreasonable grader. If you ask him about your grade he doesnt tell you what you did wrong, just that its wrong. Broken english. Repetitive. Just a poor teacher overall, dont take his class.

He is a little confusing when you first get started, but if you attend class, pay attention, take really good ntoes and refer to the textbook along with him you'll do fine. His tests are pretty easy, and he gives you the questions about a week before the test. He does repeat things a lot, but his class is definately passable.

worst class i've ever taken. i can understand what he's saying, but he takes on sentence and repeats it 1,000 times in 1,000 different ways. his grading is totally random. this class is a joke and it probably the biggest waste of time i've ever had. i can't believe i paid for this.

Easy class. He often talks in circles though(but what philosophy professor doesn't?) but other than that it's just a class to make you think and he does a good job.
