I really enjoyed this class. I had him for Calc 2 and liked it a lot. He warned us it was going to be a difficult class but it ended up being fine. My class was small so he was able to give individual attention. He really wanted you to understand the material and would go over it until you did. Definitely recommended.

I found Ionescu to be one of the best teachers at Wagner, however, if math isn't your strong point you may find him a bit confusing. If you like math and do all the homework, you should do fine. Extremely funny and interesting-you can't help but like him. Fair with the tests which he sometimes makes open book. Rarely gives anyone lower than a B+.

He is nice and his class is so easy! As long as you do the work and put a little extra effort in you will get a good grade. If you are happy with your grade before the final he gives you the option of taking it, at least for my class. Great teacher!

Ok, so he is horrible teacher for calculus. It is a pain for him to get up and write on the board. If you got a $100 dollars for every time he said is it clear you would be a rich! Getting randomly placed into this compsci. LC frosh yr=best thing that ever happened. The pairing of his ltd. spoken/written eng. lang. skills w/his humor is quite endearing. If u email him often & joke around w/him in class u can be absent to ur heart's delight. He is one big foreign ball of fun, laughs & kindness.

the most lovable teacher i have yet to meet. truly wanted his students to do well and have a fun time. class rarely lasted the full period, not really any homework, joked around with his students, and made rather boring material enjoyable to learn. the accent was so endearing =) i miss him already! haha

The most dedicated CS teacher at Wagner. If you come with a real interest in the subject and are willing to work with him a bit, he will do everything he can to help you. He is sometimes frustrated that the lower level teachers before him have not prepared his students (making him go back to teaching pointers in a senior level class often) but once you're ready, he's got an amazing amount of knowledge to convey
