His enthusiasm of History shows through. He expects you to THINK on your tests, not just gergitate info back to him. Everything on a test he will go over so taking good notes is necessary. Excellent History Professor one of my favorite.

Ibrahim is obviously very knowledgable, but he is incapable of sharing his knowledge in a clear, organized, or interesting manner. He is off-topic more often than not, and he was just plain nasty to anyone who disagreed with him. Make sure to go to class, even though it is terribly boring, because attendance postively affects borderline grades.

Not suggested for anyone who actually wants to learn about history. The only thing I took from that class is how his daughter studies, how he studied as a grad student, that he is writing a book and how to speak to other humans. Yeah, don't ever answer questions in his class because he will make you repeat it in a more "intellectual" way.

It's hard to critque Ibrahim. His quizzes which are actually tests for pretty simple. His slides are word for word from the book. He doesn't lecture much from the slides. He sort of goes off subject. I enjoyed the class, but I honestly can't remember one thing I learned from him. I learned more from the TA and his powerpoint.

he can be tough, but he tells you everything that's on the quizzes before you take them. and our final was supposed to be really hard but enough kids ****ed so he let us vote to change it... which is a fairly baller-ass move if you ask me!!

not a huge fan... boring class and he's a tough grader. his reaction papers are the worst. and he expects a ton out of his honors students - more than he expects out of his regular classes. my suggestion? don't take his class. especially if you don't need it.

Dr. Ibrahim likes to lecture but he knows his stuff well. The class is pretty easy. We had 6 quizes worth 20 pts each, and he drops the lowest. No other tests besides the upcoming final. Just make sure to go over his slides. It is too bad he is leaving for Pratte University in NY. I really enjoyed his class.

class was based on a 200 pt scale, you could throw out your lowest quiz score. he tells you which slides are going to be on the quizzes. dr. ibrahim had a lot of energy, and knew his stuff really well. take him!

boring, doesn't inform students when there will be quizzes, pronounces himself generous when grading despite the poor grades he seemingly give everyone...all around poor professor and terrible class

Class can be pretty boring, he gets off topic a lot. Quizes are easy if you simply study the slides he tells you to. You have to write 3 short essays during the semester, but automatically get half the points simply for writing it. He is very passionate about the topic, especially the middle east...

Arab Israeli conflict is a boring class when taught by Professor Ibrahim. I was excited to take it but it turned out to be very boring. Easy class though. Two short papers, four identify quizzes, and a final exam. Don't take as a night class if you don't have to. Way to boring at night all you want to do is sleep. Nice buy but a boring teach

This class was tough for me. I took as an intersession. Tough. Made a D. He's hard to understand and jumps around chronologically. Hard to follow. Tough for me. Nice guy though. Has interesting life stories. Funny too.

He gets caught off topic a lot and isn't a very interesting teacher. By the third week of class he had either half of the class asleep or absent. You can learn a lot from this teacher but you have to be interested in this class. The final is worth 50 percent of your final grade and the other 50 percent is from the tests.

This was the first semester he tought this class. Dr. Ibrahim is a terrific professor. I'll be taking classes with him for the next full year and I'm excited about that. If you get the chance, TAKE HIM! He calls it like it is, and he's very seasoned at that.

Even though Dr. Ibrahim tended to jump around some I learned a tremendous amount in his course. Most days I walked away from his lectures with more things to think about than I went in with. If you want to be able to relate the past to the present this is an instructor to take.
