He isn't mean, but his classes are boring, he likes 8Am classes, which makes the thing worst. Quizzes are open book, not really complicated. But still after this class, I am not able to write a single program.

I had him for Introduction of college math and received no credit. Easy class but you need to make sure that you're paying attention while he is taking attendance, he might skip you. Easy class overall, just show up and do your homework. test/quizzes are rarely easy if you do the homework. Lectures aren't the best, especially if it's a early class.

Comment:

Taught the majority of my classes, really great teacher and fun if you get his sense of humor. Most of the bad reviews on here are for his intro class, which he gets frustrated with because students just have to follow the instructions in the book and don't, then argue with him about it.

I had Professor Iliff for six courses (back in the early 80's). He worked extremely hard to get down to our level. I did not understand much of what he taught. HOWEVER, in the years following, I often found myself (at work) saying out loud "aah, that's what he meant". Unlike many classes, his translated well into the working world.

Since I took a course he usually doesn't teach, Dialogue, it was a total disaster! Super easy course, doesn't check if you read at all, grades easily, doesn't follow school grammar outlines. You don't learn anything in his class, they drag and he always plays Monty Python in class(completely unnecessary)

He is a pretty cool Prof. He links the courses to Monty Python, always a plus! His test are mostly open book! Do the homework, show up for class, the rest falls into place. He is a pretty funny guy, when you get his jokes! Nerdy, but that adds character to his classes, hahaha.

This class is horrible, I didn't find out till halfway through the class that you can test out of it. I encourage anyone to do that instead of sitting through this painful class. You don't learn anything and all the answers for the exam must be exactly what they are in the book, no partial credit given. If you want an A make sure you do well on the

Professor Iliff is extremely easy as a teacher. He is not demanding by any means, and very reasonable when it comes to work and tests. You'd be a fool not to take his classes, if you try at all you will get an A.
