Weekly quizzes based on textbook chapters were sometimes easy, sometimes hard. One midterm and a final leaves lots of material on each test but he's a super easy grader. Super smart guy that loves his research, but he tends to be more on the boring side of teaching. You can tell he means well as he's a super sweet guy, just has boring lectures.

Cam is a real beauty. He has a passion for environmental science and it shows. He makes content relevant and easy to understand. There are weekly chapter quizzes which are pretty general except some that are pretty specific. His tests are alright if you study hard enough, examples are key. He relates a lot of stuff to Alberta which is cool

Cameron was an overall good prof that clearly knew what he was talking about. But he often forgot that this is an introductory course and would treat it like everyone was bio major. He is not clear about exam expectations and takes FOREVER to get your mark back. Would not recommend unless you are willing to read and wait 3 weeks for exam results...

Cam is the best professor at the university of Lethbridge, i took every course i could with him and parasitism was awesome! There is weekly quizzes from the textbook so you do need to read the chapters but it really helps with learning the material for the exams. Cam is absolutely hilarious and his lectures are THE BEST!!!

Fantastic prof! So nice and approachable, makes the material real and applicable. This class is unconventional too with a week-long field trip and classes for only about half the semester, but it was so good! I would highly recommend taking any class with Cam.

Cam is awesome! One of the best professors I've had at U of L. His enthusiasm for invertebrates was contagious and his once a week quizzes forced students to be prepared and put necessary effort into the course. My interest in the subject matter was greatly enhanced by the course. Strongly recommended.

A very good prof. He puts his notes on the website before hand, and tells you the little pages you should read before class. (If you do you will do well in the clicker questions) Interesting but scrolls through his power points a little too quickly though...

Cam is without a doubt the greatest prof. I've ever had, bar none. You should all also know he is on the NSERC board, so if you plan on grad studies, get to know Cam well, cuz he's the one that says if you get funding or not.

made class quite interesting to previous teacher (will not name names). Was confident going into the last test. He provides the notes online but leaves out a few things so going to class is important, but its a pretty good class (his portion, anyhow) so its alright. Made even sponges look interesting.

Having been at several universities, I would highly recommend Cam as a BIO prof. Even though I'm not as passionate about parasites as he is, his passion is contagious and made the class interesting. He knows his stuff and I'd strongly recommend him as a nice guy and a good prof.

Cam is without a doubt the best bio prof at the U of L. His enthusiasm for the material adds immensly to lectures. Seems that when I try to remember stuff I learned in university, I can recall much more from Cam's classes than any other prof's.

He seems super enthusiastic about the material and seems like he loves to teach. He also encourages student thinking by asking us to hypothesize...and he's easy on the eyes.
