Very helpful and expects a fair amount of work from her students. Definitely not a blow-off class but not overly difficult either. She will get a bit angry though if you are not making a sufficient effort to understand the material but is always available (by email, phone, etc.) to help

To me, she had that memorable-high-school teacher quality: very fun, and cared alot. Nothing like a typical stuck-up professor. She is very helpful, and super nice. But you do need to pay attention and work in her classes.

A wonderful teacher, probably one of the best. I went into her class with no interest in computer science and now I love it and have taken multiple classes with her. You do need to work hard however she is ALWAYS there if you need help...you can even call her at home. Best advice if taking her class is ask for help when you need it..Go see her!!

Professor St. Clair is one of those professors that only come around once in a while. She's tough, but you leave her class knowing SO much more than you did going into it. For my money, she's one of the best we have at North Central College.
