She's definitely a nice, educated woman. Her lectures are long and she's very monotone so it's very hard to force yourself to pay attention. It's almost as if she's whispering.

She is a wonderful teacher, however, I don't have interest for history at all. Her lectures are very long and slow. But, be prepared to read 5-10 pages of the textbook EVERY week. She gives quizzes throughout the semester plus Midterm and Final. She is very excited about the subject of history so she expect lots of participation.

She is very nice and knows a lot about history. She is very informative but her lectures tend to be long and sometimes off topic. if you take notes and do the readings you will do fine. the group discussions, although rare, are very interesting.

I really like her and her class. She knows EVERYTHING! I was never interested in history until i took her class! IT IS A LECTURE CLASS, people still dont understand that! but if you take notes you learn alot.. her midterm is easy and she grades really easy! I like her and her class! I would take her again for sure!

This professor really knows her stuff and she demands a high level of commitment from the students. There is a great deal of reading and the lectures are dense but if you read, show up, take notes, and write the required papers you will not only succeed in her class, you will learn.

If you're interested in History; take her class. She knows a lot and you can tell she loves it. She's an amazing teacher and is always there to help if you fall behind or don't understand anything. Her classes are important not to miss because the bulk of the history lessons are in her lectures and the texts she requires are meaty as well. A+

Smart teacher knows what shes talking about, however she expects everyone to know just as much about the subject as she does, gives a lot of reading assignments, boring lectures that never end, slow at responding to emails esp. when its important and then she'll say its your fault, overall if you don't have to take her Id advise u not to!

If you can avoid this class. So BORING! All she does is lecture on and on and on.. No time for questions, keeps you til last minute, and have to do 4 papers + a paper on a book.. Not to mention quizzes, midterm + final. But she does give the questions to the midterm a week before... But STill!
