She is really nice and down to earth. Her assignments are really long and could be difficult. Her quizzes were hard, her midterm and final were cool and you are allowed to use your text book. Overall she is pretty cool.

Donna is a good teacher who explains the material well. Her lectures are long and rather boring (she has a very soft and monotone voice). Her projects are easy but only because she gives you the code. She expects you to know a lot of info prior to the class. She is willing to help you with the class or with anything else. Very caring person.

Nice professor. Her lectures are tiresome but you can't blame her since it's during the evening and the lights are down for her slides. She assigns large projects which you better start ASAP or else you'll be struggling to get it done by the deadline. She's really nice and very helpful. The projects are challenging but doable if you give yourself enough time. The quiz questions are vague (like T/F) and worth too many points. Can use the (very expensive!) textbook on the exams, but don't use it much otherwise. She lectures directly from the slides with the lights out, so bring coffee.

A wonderful teacher with good humor! Her lectures can sometimes be boring, but as are anyone else's. Her labs, test, and quizzes are fair, and she definitely prepares you for anything. She has a lot of experience, and introduces you to a multitude of things at a comfortable pace. Take her if you can, you won't regret it.

I really enjoyed her class. She brought in alot of her experience from working in the field, which I found useful. Her projects may seem hard at first, but she gives you 90% of the coding, you just have to manipulate it to your needs. She teaches well, quizes are easy, and you can use the book on the exams.

If you had her for 274 or 277, the class is structured exactly the same. The projects are the largest portion of your grade. They aren't hard, but get started early! She does assign groups for the Simulation Project, so hopefully you get a good group, otherwise it sucks.

Lectures are very boring, can barely stay awake. Projects aren't too bad and it really helps if you work with someone. Tests and quizzes aren't too bad, just do the projects and you'll be fine.

Great teacher... her projects are VERY difficult sometimes, but they help you learn. And she's always available to help out. Very clearly gets the subject matter across, and her tests are fair.

The projects she assigned were very easy, since all the code for them was in the textbook; all you had to do was copy the code directly out of the book with a few minor changes. There were two tests; a midterm and a final. The tests were basically the same things she had put on the quizes. She can get very very boring when she's lecturing.

Quizzes r broad. lots of notes to go over. Each day, there r about 20 pages of notes she scans through quickly. If you have her for 274, her projects in there r very similar in 475. the projects r do-able, but u have to start early. Class is curved. 5 quizzes, drops lowest. one midterm & final

Nice and approachable. Helps to correct syntax & some design. I was able to hone my c++ skills. Quizzes were vague and tricky. She assigns senior project group - pray you have a good group. Projects were difficult towards end of semester. I didn't feel like she provided enough info to complete.

Good class, I learned a lot, projects take some time but are fun to do and teach you quite a bit. Tests are straight from the lectures, usually T/F, MultChoice and then questions to examine the code, Lectures are downloadable and she goes through and explains them. Good teacher!
