Easiest class at Iowa State University next to ComSci 103. Kleptach freakin rules, if you think otherwise, you might as well cease to exist. When you play concerts you usually get the impression that symphonic and wind ensemble laugh at how mediocre the band sounds but the songs are fun and its an easy A. Take it.

Kick 'em in the Kleptach! (Yeah! The Kleptach!). The man has about the funniest last name possible and Emperor Kleppy lives up to it in person, he picks lots of great Sousa marches for concert band and makes that group really fun and a nice way to get an easy A and to stay with an instrument. Plus, he helps out with marching band and with pep band.

I LOVE this man!!!! He's the best ever. I'll be in his band for my fifth semester next spring, and I can't wait. Not a strict conductor, just loves to have fun and enjoy the music. Recommendations: write down all the funny things he comes up with during class. It makes an awesome "Kleptach Quotes" keepsake. Say hi to the crazy oboist Nikki!

I felt that the way he conducted Concert Band was very unprofessional. I constently makes mistakes without knowing in and his choice of concert music isn't the greatest. Though he is a lot of fun and the course is a breeze, he's a crappy conductor.
