Comment:
Hueckel is a really nice guy but makes everything more complicated than it is. He's hard to follow in lectures because he never pauses, and most tests are ridiculously hard. Not the class to take if you only want a basic knowledge of econ. He is helpful in office hours though, so you have to be really dedicated to the class to do well.

Comment:
Ridiculously convulted explanations for what should be simple topics. Uses lots of psuedo-math in what might be an attempt at simplification but just makes everything confusing. The best way to do well on his tests is to think logically, and then write the opposite. Nice guy though.

Comment:
I personally couldn't stand Hueckel but here's the thing: there are two ways to teach econ. You can focus more on the social science aspect of it or the mathematical aspect. Hueckel chose the mathematical part which I suck at and he is not a good lecturer.

Lectures can be dry, but I think he is great. Much better for upper division classes than intro. He is extremely kind and patient, if you work hard you will do well. He is extremely pationate about his classes and puts a lot of work into them -- particularly the history ones. He is great for advice outside of class.

This man is my hero, he is the most helpful teacher I have ever had and a great guy. People who don't like him are just plain stupid and I don't know how they got through admissions in the first place. GO HUECKEL

he's the bomb. anyone who doesn't like him is an idiot. seriously. they all were the stupiedest people in our class. i got enough out of this class to sail through my next two econ classes without ever cracking a book. that's just how awesome he is.
