Jason is amazing! He engages the class, is up to date on current events and really connects with his students. He doesn't teach through power points or directly out of the book, but actually discusses things with his students and seems to really enjoy group discussions. Amazing, wish he could teach all of my classes!

Jason is an amazing prof! he makes his classes interesting so you dont get bored. He teaches the material by talking to you, no textbook, no notes.You have to read the stories, poems to get a good grade in the class. His quizzes and exams are easy as long as u know the material. Overall, Jason is an amazing prof and i would recommend him to anyone

Amazing prof - one of the best I have had here. He brings studying poetry, metaphor, etc beyond the books and looks at media, film, marketing, branding and real world examples. Very fun class. He's wicked smart. Highly recomend. Can mark hard tho.

Great prof - be warned: if you don't keep up you'll be in trouble. Very smart and expects his students to contribute. He doesn't like lazy students or lazy thinkers and shows it. If you want a bird english class then avoid. If you want to learn something take the class. I learned a lot.

Terrible! Completely self absorbed. All the texts were useless. Classes were randomly cancelled and he wouldn't give you very much notice. Showed up for 20 min, had nothing prepared to teach, so he sent us home on numerous occasions. Learned nothing.

Doesn't seem interested in teaching. All his classes seemed thrown together at the last minute. Took him days, sometimes weeks to respond to emails.Refuses to use BlackBoard which makes getting your marks difficult. Worst instructor I had at Mount Royal.
