Dr. Nelson was really helpful! The lectures are very helpful, so don't miss a lecture day! Don't miss lab, too! Everything he teaches you are very essential to his exams! Pay attention to lectures. I suggest to bring a laptop because he talks fast, but if you ask him questions, he'll answer and clarify it for you. I recommend taking him for Anatomy

He is an overall amazing teacher. Loves to get personal with his students, very supportive, his lectures are not mandatory but they are interesting! If you have trouble throughout the course, use the Anatomy study group, they are great and extremely helpful. Wish I could have Dr.Nelson as a teacher for all my courses!

Without a doubt the most invested professor i have ever met. He genuinely cares about his students and that is clear through the way he gets to know all of them and how approachable he is too. His clinical experience not only amplifies the practicality of what he is teaching, but gives him knowledge not normally associated with a typical lecturer.

Great prof for Human Anatomy. He made the topic very interesting and fun to learn. My only complaint was in lab. I am an animal-rights person (and vegan) and we were required to work on the dissected cats. I think there needs to be an alternative to this as many people had a problem with it. Keep addressing this and hopefully he will understand.

Great Professor. If you are interested in Biology or medicine of any sort, this is the simplest class you could take. If you have a hard time, consider a different career. Very approachable and clear. Gives study guides and notes. Tests are very straight forward. Take pictures for the lab practicals. Do the study guides. You'll do fine.
