Teaches in lectures at grade level, then tests you like you are a nuclear scientist. Makes you derive for unknown variables while combining multiple formulas. It is impossible to fail if you do all the work, but only because his classes are graded a level short. If you want an easy C take him, if you want an A and want to learn DONT!

Tests have nothing to do with HWs or experiments, or lectures. Open book exams where average is 65. Half the class quits midway. Other half cheats or busts their ass. Studied 14 hour weeks and got average 73 from tests, while kid next to me googled everything and barely got as good as me. Calling this man an educator is a reach....

You have two options to pass his class, either do the homework and assignments well, or the tests. He drops a bunch of stuff, and his office hours conveniently right before due time for papers in his classroom where he helps you finish your work. With Sagle you get what you give, which is more than most other physics instructors.

Guys just take his class. Don't be afraid of other comments down below. He is such an awesome professor. Trust me, you're gonna like it. Only think that I didn't like was group projects, but that was not that bad actually.

Dr Sagle is a great Physics professor who is very organized and has lots of experience. Physics is no joke- you must come to class, pay attention, do the homework, and ask questions in order to do well. However, in my class, you only needed an 84% to get an A.

The professor teaches by giving the students handouts and letting them do group work. I have yet to see him physically teach us anything. Reading the online text helps but that only goes so far.

Not much lecture, mostly learning through group experiments. I prefer lecure though - I don't feel I learned as much from all of the handouts and labs. He drops a lot of grades though, so try your best and you will likely get an A-B.

IMO Sagle can't teach well at all, but it is very possible to pass with a good grade. He drops a lot of grades and an 84 or above is an A. Do all of the problems, try your hardest to understand material, take the class seriouslydon't skip it etc and you should be fine. It was a pain for me, though, but I survived with an A.

I had Dr Sagle for phy110 and 111 he is really nice and helpful. I easily got very high scores on every test. Do the homework problems YOURSELF and understand concepts, most test questions are similar to the homework or class examples. He is also one of the smartest guys I have ever met. Tests are open book and drops your lowest test grade Easy A.

Dr Sagel is a smart person, but a horrible teacher! He cannot teach at this low level. Do not take him!

His tests are nothing like his lecture's. If you take him, study the textbook or you will get not-so-good test grades. I pulled my grades up by doing all the homework and attending class- quiz grade is attendance. Try not to miss any labs either, he won't let you make it up.

He does not know how to teach.. too smart to teach at a beginners level. -only hands out group activities and expects you to learn from that.. no lecture at all -Each group activity is due by the end of each class period so instead of learning, everyone ends up copying off the smart kid in the group just to be able to hand it in for the 10 points.

He doesnt really teach you the material before you're expected to work on assignments pertaining to the material. He's a nice guy though, and knows his physics. If you read the chapters outside of class (2hrs/week) you will get at least a B.

He is awful, does not teach the material at all, and expects you to understand ways to approach very complicated problems all by yourself. The role of a teacher is to help form the though process of a student, in order to better understand the material, none of which he does. If you have the ability to take someone else, do it.

Easily one of the worst teachers I've ever had. He DOESN'T teach. All he does is give out group assignments and expects you to know everything. The tests are a joke, he gives you 0 clue what will be on it. DO NOT TAKE.

Pretends to want to help but is more interested in watching students answer questions they ask by themselves. Physics is an intuitive science and hard to make easy, but this guy adds salt to the wound by making it difficult. If you enjoy 30 problem assignments worth 5 points out of 700 every 3 days, this is the teacher for you!

This guy isn't so bad. All physics is is understanding the question, transforming it into an equation (which he gives you a list of for the tests) and solve for the variable. Anyone with a backgroung on simple algebra can handle this course.

This professor really takes a step back when it comes to teaching. Rather than tell you why something works the way it does, he makes you think about it yourself. The faith he has in his students to come to an epiphany about the material seems a bit overestimated. To succeed in his class you must really do all of the homework

Dr. Sagle's extremely hard. If you had no working knowledge of Physics, you certainly will not have any after this class. He hands out activities that you complete with others. Homework assignments were more indepth than one would imagine. Took anywhere from 3 to 4 days to complete. Definitely get a tutor and pray before each exam!
