Khodam is by far the best professor I have ever taken. He is hilarious, takes time to learn student names, is very specific about what he teaches, and always wants to make sure the students are engaged in the class. He will tell you exactly what will be on the quiz and exam so there is no excuse to be unprepared. DONT TAKE ANYBODY ELSE.

Best professor out there, take the activity with him if you can. He gets to know you and won't be hard on you if you don't understand something. He's really helpful and will keep teaching something until the class understands it. Hilarious and truly does make my day :)

Dr Kambiz is legit the best math professor Ive had. He makes a subject that is bland interesting and fun. This class is a lot of work. Multiple weekly h/w, quizzes, 3 exams, final, online quizzes, and more. The workload was a lot but if your good at math or apply yourself, you will do fine. I went to about 50% of large lectures and will get a B.

Comment:

Professor Khoddam is a very caring instructor. He makes understanding the math very simple and easy. At the start of the semester I attended tutoring extra tutoring at CBA to reinforce the material and it helped me be successful in the class. The exams are very similar to HW questions and the quizzes.

This professor is very sarcastic and funny which makes the class a lot shorter. The class does have a lot of homework and almost a quiz every week. The exams are all very straight forward as long as you do the homework.

Very funny teacher! helps students who are struggling! need to buy web assign code for h.w, & iclicker (used atleast once for every lecture) wants kids to participate, will help you with anything even w/ web assign questions. Web assign due tuesdays & fridays, quizzes are in activity class. Quizzes are every week, 3 exams. miss class, miss material

This class is going to be difficult if you do not like calculus but it is not the professor's fault. He is a very caring professor and will answer all your questions no matter how small or big. iClicker use will be needed for participation as well as online homework. He's an awesome professor I would take him again just not the class.

Steady paced lectures and very hilarious. His humor was the reason why I passed because it helped my focus and made the class more interesting. He's willing to help you if you don't understand something and makes sure everyone is on the same page.

Professor Kambiz is amazing! He's funny and he makes sure his students understand what is going on in class. At first I thought he was a bit intimidating, but then I attended office hours and he's the best! He explains really well, and even though he is a tough grader when it comes to exams like every professor, he does his best to help you pass.

Honestly such a great professor! Math has never been my strongest subject and with him I maintained an A all semester! Super open to questions at any time and urges students to participate and stop him for anything. Definitely take the SI course if offered, really really REALLY pushed me to get that A!

He's very interactive with the students and has very detailed lectures. If one student doesn't understand he will make sure they do before proceeding, as long as they ask. Often cracks jokes during lectures and the exams are very clear as the Webassign homework as well as the Offline homework problems help a lot with the exams.

Kambiz is really a great teacher and is pretty entertaining. Try to get him for your activity sessions too, and dont be afraid to raise your hand in class. I had an A all semester but I got brought down to a B from the final, but he rewards hard work and rounded my B to an A. All in all, dope.

Business calculus is tough course 3 exams 1 cumulative final. you need to stay on top of it and work hard. Homework called web assign twice a week, get it done but it didn't help me pass the exams. If you want to pass the exams make sure you do the OFFLINE homework on your own time! He confused me a lot and goes fast. Get yourself a tutor. I got B

I love Kambiz!!! Such an awesome professor. Had him my first year for business calc and he has changed the way I view professors. He is hilarious, helpful, and wants students to do well. Enjoyed going to his lectures even though I hate math. I did very well in his class and would definitely reccomend.

Khoddam was one of the best math teachers I've ever had. His tests are easy if you put in the work and he always does test reviews that basically show you what the test is going to look like. His office hours are super helpful and he's super caring. You have to show up to lecture to take notes though, don't fall behind. He's a great teacher.

He wasn't the worst at teaching, but sometimes he would go over easy concepts for an hour and spend less time on the harder concepts. His test would sometimes be on topics that he went over once. He talks quietly so I would sit up front because people in the back tend to talk a lot.

Kambiz was awesome! You can tell he actually cares about the success of his students and the small activity sessions make a huge difference. Study, pay attention, and take notes during the lecture and you are sure to pass. Beware his course materials are expensive though - requires a book, online hw, and online assessment first few weeks.
